I know, I know. You guys are all wondering what Film.com has been up to so far this Fall. As always, we've been multitasking: We held our inaugural Film.com Trivia Night on September 16th in Seattle, which was a resounding success. Hosted by our own Laremy Legel and Garrett Grieb, we had about 100 people, found a perfect location called Sole Repair Shop, and gave prizes away to the winning (and losing) teams. Stay tuned for more events to come.

On the site, you've probably noticed that we're rockin' a new navigation bar, complete with drop down navigational elements. What we can say? We're here to help you find your way around our site more easily and effectively. Hope this helps, plus we're cooking up an exciting array of site enhancements in the next few months.

Big news! The film.com flying fortress has a brand new TV Editor. Allow me to introduce Pamela Sitt, freshly minted from the august and respected Seattle Times where she handled a weekly column entitled "Girl About Town." Pamela will be assuming the full-time programming duties Tuesday, July 1st. We'd also be remiss if we didn't give kudos and love to departing editor Jason Mathews who has built one of the coolest TV pages on the internets.

It's been a tiring week. Three movies screened (Love Guru, Get Smart and Wanted), and we've got reviews available for two out of three. (Wanted isn't allowed to go up until next week. Very sad.)

Let's see here, what else went down ... well, how about a photo gallery? We came up with the very sultry Celebs at the Beach in swimwear, plus the almost as sultry Justin Timberlake, Elisha Cuthbert, Don Cheadle, and Jess Alba. You're probably aware that JT and Alba star in Love Guru, while we're just fans of Don Cheadle and Elisha Cuthbert (although we'll agree that Captivity was clearly terrible).

We gave Mike Myers a pass with an official B- ... but then we regrouped and bashed his film too. Get Smart also got a B-, but I'd say that it's the one to see if you're heading out this weekend.
